A Fairfax homeowner approached CoreTrade Electric, wanting to add light switches in remote locations and at the ends of hallways in their single-family home. They also wanted to upgrade their outlets to support USB charging.
Adding light switches and outlets in different locations throughout a home and down long hallways can require extensive drywall work, which increases the installation costs and time required. Fortunately, CoreTrade Electric had a better solution: smart switches and outlets that eliminated the need for drywall work while meeting the homeowner’s needs.
Caseta smart electrical switches and outlets use wireless connectivity via radio frequency, which provides a more secure and direct connection compared to standard Wi-Fi.
The smart outlets were an excellent choice for this homeowner because they also included multiple USB ports, supporting both USB-C and USB-A, which eliminated the need for separate plug adapters. The entire system could be controlled remotely via a smartphone app.
