Overview
The client was looking to upgrade and transform their home’s screened-in porch in Vienna. They were looking for upgrades to make it a year-round entertainment room for the entire family. The client envisioned lighting, heaters, a fireplace as well as a hanging TV to be part of the project, and for this project CoreTrade.
Project Details
The screen didn’t porch was approximately 20 by 30 ft in size. As a first step our team reviewed the primary home’s existing electrical panel and electrical system to ensure what we were adding to the porch could be accommodated and would not stress the larger system. Once the electrical outlets and related work was completed, our team installed two skylights, two paddle ceiling fans, two ceiling heaters as well as a fireplace and a television fixed to the wall above the fireplace. all of these amenities could ensure year-round usage of the upgraded porch area for the entire family.
Outcome
Upon completion, the feedback from both the client and his entire family was very positive. We had successfully transformed a screened-in porch that was primarily used during the summer sparingly, to an upgraded and integral part of the house with modern features and electrical power.
